Shortcut Keys
Most of the Shortcut Keys in Maptool can be found in the menu, some however not. The latter are marked in italic. Here is a comprehensive list of all of them (that I know of):
Light
- ctrl+K toggle: show light sources
- ctrl+i clear fog of selected token(s)
- ctrl+P clear fog of selected token(s) along last moved path
- ctrl+shift+O restore hard FOW and clear FOW for all PC tokens or your own PC tokens if use individual views is enabled in Server Options
- ctrl+W toggle fog of war
Map
- Spacebar show a pointer (arrow) on the map
- ctrl+Spacebar show a pointer (talk-balloon)
- shift+Spacebar show a pointer (think-balloon)
- Spacebar while moving adds a waypoint (as does middle mouse button)
- ctrl+H toggle map (in)visible to player
- ctrl+G toggle grid
- ctrl+shift+A grid settings
- ctrl+N new map
- ctrl+shift+P toggle player view (GM screen only)
- ctrl+shift+S screenshot
- ctrl+shift+D clear all drawings
- ctrl+Z undo drawing
- ctrl+shift+F center players on current view continuously
- ctrl+alt+enter toggle full map
- ctrl+F center players on current view
- ctrl+E force players to current map
- = zoom in
- - zoom out
- + toggle zoom 1:1
- Z (keep it pressed) inverse mouse scroll zoom
Tokens
- ctrl+T toggle token names
- (shift+)T select next (shift=previous) Token on map
- D Drop Selected tokens after move (when using arrow keys)
- (ctrl+)shift+mousewheel(Up/Down) Rotate facing of token by 90 degrees, ctrl=rotate by 1 degree. Note that when you set the token to 'Top down' ('double click on token' --> 'config tab' --> 'Shape') the whole token will rotate instead of a yellow pointer arrow
- (ctrl+)shift+Arrow keys(Left/Right) In TOKEN layer: Same asmousewheel: rotate token. In ALL OTHER LAYERS: move token per pixel in stead of per cell
Chat
- / macro command
- ctrl+enter toggle chat frame
Standard
- ctrl+O open new campaign file
- ctrl+S save current campaign file
- ctrl+A save current campaign file as...
- ctrl+C copy
- ctrl+X cut
- ctrl+V paste
